After a hard day's work moving dirt and gravel on the adjoining twenty acres recently purchased by family, a discovery was made. As our brother Colin was tending a stump fire, he uncovered what appeared at first to be a glow stick. Upon further investigation, an entire log in the undergrowth was covered in this bioluminescent fungi. Thanks to the internet we learned it is called Foxfire or Fairy Fire.
